In the early years, our focus was primarily helping Oil and Gas companies with diverse projects including: offshore training for Mobil Oil, Help Desk services for Unocal, Morning Report Database for Newfield Exploration and BJ Services plus dozens of custom software programs for other companies including: Baker Hughes, Ensco International, MI Swaco and others.

In 2002, Apex partnered with National Oilwell Varco (NOV) and formed a LLC called DrillLogic. The company’s main product was a Morning Report Solution called DrillWell which is currently used by over 15 Drilling Companies worldwide. DrillLogic was purchased by NOV and many of the great personnel that created DrillWell are now NOV employees.
